Hoisting of the Flag – 06, May Evening 5.30
Novena Masses 06, to 13 of May, 6.00 p.m.
Feast and Car Procession May 14th and 15th.
Peter Francis, Vicar General of Kumbakonam, hoisted the flag in the presence of Fr.L.Kulandaisamy, Parish priest of Poondi Madha Basilica.
Novena mass and sermons will be held at 6 p.m. every day. Solemn car procession will be held on May 14 at 10 p.m.
The church was built by Tamil poet Veeramamunivar and the statue of Pudumai Madha is in the church from 1858.
