Special Spritual Features

On 1st Saturday’s
1. 9.30 am Novena Mass for the Devotees.
2. Mass in Tamil at 11.15 am for the Sick. The Sick will be blessed with
oil at the end of the Mass.
3. Car procession at 5p.m followed by Novena Mass.
4. Night Vigil Prayer Service from 9.00pm to 12pm followed by mass.
On 3rd Saturday’s
1. Mass in Tamil at 9.30 am is for the Children. The Children will be blessed at the end of the mass.
2. Novena Mass in Tamil at 11.15am is offered for the intentions of the members of the Basilica.

Priests are available for confession half an hour before every mass

A piece of the orginal cross of Jesus is kept for veneration beneath the Statue of Our Lady of Poondi.
