This Year Christmas , New Year and the Easter Festivals were celebrated in a grand manner. Thousands of pilgrims flocked to the Basilica to celebrate these festivals. A Crib was decorated depicting the plight of the flood victims in Chennai and it was one of the highlights of these celebrations....

Water Purifying Plant has been installed in the Basilica campus to provide safe drinking water to the pilgrims. It was blessed and opened by Fr. Rector on 1st January 2016, New Year Day. We are grateful to all who have supported us in realizing this project.

Poondi Madha Miraculous Night Worship was solemnly inaugurated on 8th December, On the Feast of Immaculate conception of Our Lady, by Rev. Fr. Napoleon Albert, Secretary, Youth and Family Commissions, Tanjavur. Hundreds of pilgrims participated in this night worship.
